The story of the estate has begun in 1920, when Jean François Morel, a suiss vintner, settled in Gascony so as to cultivate vine. At the beginning the vineyard was about 10 hectares.
Denise his daughter and her husband Jean Jegerlhener settled in the estate in 1960, and their passion for wine brought about build cellars and expand the vineyard. Their son Philip joins the team and devotes fully his time to manage the vineyard.
Moreover, their daughter Elisabeth has a passion for vine and wine too. She decided to study oenology and became oenologue. After working at Tarriquet estate, and thanks to her husband, Henry Prataviera, she develops the estate witch present today 120 hectares. First bottles are produced in 2003. More than 700 000 were market in 2009.
Today, the estate continues to progress, to modernize and to develop it’s fame.
